Chhattisgarh State Judicial Academy organizes international training for judicial officers of Bangladesh

Chhattisgarh State Judicial Academy has organized a five-day training program for 50 judicial officers from Bangladesh.

This is a historic moment for the Chhattisgarh State Judicial Academy as this is the first international training program being organized by the Judicial Academy since its formation.

Chief Justice Ramesh Sinha and Honorable Justice Sanjay K. This international training program could be organized under the guidance of Aggarwal and under his guidance this international training program was launched today on 28 January 2024.

This training program is part of the training program of the National Judicial Academy, Bhopal and is a milestone in the objective of the State Judicial Academy to enhance the capacity and efficiency of the judiciary.

The program was inaugurated by Chief Justice Ramesh Sinha in virtual mode from New Delhi. In his address, he welcomed the judicial officers from Bangladesh and said that in the present times, it is imperative for the judiciary to assimilate each other’s experiences and gain knowledge from them.

On this important occasion, Honorable Justice Sanjay K. Aggarwal, Sanjay Aggarwal, Deepak Tiwari, Sachin Singh Rajput, Rakesh Mohan Pandey and Ravindra Aggarwal were present. About 300 judges from the nearby districts of Bilaspur and officials from the registry of Chhattisgarh High Court participated in this program.

Justice Sanjay K in the inauguration program. Aggarwal said in his address that this international training program is being organized under the MoU signed between the National Judicial Academy, Bhopal and the Supreme Court of Bangladesh.

Explaining in detail about the training program, he expressed that this training program will include important areas of law and jurisprudence, new developments in civil and criminal law, laws related to women and details regarding laws related to protection of child rights. Sessions will be conducted from.

In which lectures will be given by lecturers from law colleges, senior advocates and experienced judicial officers of Chhattisgarh.

While welcoming the judicial officers from Bangladesh in this inaugural programme, in his welcome address, Justice Rakesh Mohan Pandey told that there are many areas to connect India and Bangladesh. He said that the national anthems of both the countries have been written by Rabindranath Tagore.

On this occasion, vote of thanks was proposed by Smt. Sushma Sawant, Director of Chhattisgarh State Judicial Academy and the program was conducted by Smt. Garima Sharma, Additional Director of the Academy.

As the training program moves towards completion in the coming 5 days, the State Judicial Academy is eager to see its transformative impact on the judicial community and its contribution to the advancement of the justice system.
