Chief Justice performed virtual bhumi pujan and foundation stone of construction work in village Kheda
A well-equipped residential colony for judicial officers and employees in any district is encouraging and infuses new energy, which increases their efficiency and effectiveness. The new colony of the district should be such that it proves to be an example for the state.
Views to this effect were expressed by Chhattisgarh High Court Chief Justice Ramesh Sinha on the occasion of virtual bhumi pujan and foundation stone laying ceremony of residential colony for judicial officers and employees in village Kheda of Mungeli district.
Chief Justice Sinha extended his best wishes for the construction of residential houses and said that work is being done in collaboration with the State Government to provide infrastructure to the courts and initiatives for this have also been started.
He said that we have to provide a better working environment in the courts of the state. This project is an important step towards providing accommodation for judicial officers and employees, so that they do not have to face any difficulties in getting accommodation.
He directed the officers and engineers of the concerned department to complete this project with full quality and within the stipulated time frame.
Sinha also asked the judicial officers to continuously monitor the project to ensure the quality of construction work.
While addressing the program of Bhoomi Pujan and Foundation Stone, Chhattisgarh High Court and Portfolio Judge Narendra Kumar Vyas said that for the judicial officers and employees of district Mungeli, one B type, one E type, 3 G type, 16 H type and 9 I type. Rs 04 crore 84 lakh has been allocated for the construction of government housing houses.
He said that quality construction work on time increases the credibility of the district administration, hence quality construction work should be done on time.
It is noteworthy that a residential house is to be constructed for judicial officers and employees in village Kheda of Mungeli development block, the foundation stone of which was laid by Chief Justice Sinha of Chhattisgarh High Court and Portfolio Judge Vyas of Mungeli district this morning through video conferencing.
On this occasion, District and Sessions Judge Chandrakumar Ajagalle welcomed the Chief Justice and Portfolio Judge for gifting a new well-equipped residential colony to Mungeli district.
Before the Bhoomi Pujan and foundation stone laying program of the residential colony for the proposed judicial officers and employees, District and Sessions Judge Chandrakumar Ajgalle, Principal Judge of Family Court Mrs. Kirti Lakra, First District Judge Neeraj Sharma, Special Judge P.S. Markam, Judicial Magistrate Smt. Reshma Bairagi Patel, Ms. Shweta Thakur and Anantdeep Tirkey performed Bhoomi Pujan as per the rituals with Vedic chanting.
In the program, all the judges of the District Court, Collector Rahul Dev, newly appointed Superintendent of Police Girijashankar Jaiswal, Additional Collector Vijendra Singh Patle, Additional Superintendent of Police Mrs. Pratibha Pandey, Mungeli SDM Praveen Tiwari, District Advocates Association President Tikam Chandrakar and officials, all judicial officers of the district were present. All the employees of the District Court including officers were present.
The program was conducted by District Legal Services Authority Secretary Mayank Soni and vote of thanks was expressed by Chief Judicial Magistrate Balram Kumar Dewangan.
It is noteworthy that due to lack of habitation in Kheda village near the district headquarters, conducting the Bhoomi Pujan virtually through video conferencing was particularly challenging. But under the direction of District Portfolio Judge Narendra Kumar Vyas and under the guidance of District and Sessions Judge Chandrakumar Ajgalle and supervision of First Additional District Sessions Judge Neeraj Sharma, the P.S. A team of Markam Special Judge and Balram Kumar Dewangan Chief Judicial Magistrate was formed, who, with the continuous efforts of the District Collector, SDM, Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited and Public Works Department, successfully completed the Bhoomi Pujan and foundation stone laying work of the residential colony in virtual mode. .
