Earlier this Police Assistance Center was under the jurisdiction of Podi police station Khadgawan district Manendragarh-Chirmiri-Bharatpur. Now it has been included in Baikunthpur police station of Koriya district.
36 villages falling under new police post Podi (Bachra) were already included under District Korea, but the jurisdiction of police station remained under Kharagwan district Manendragarh-Chirmiri-Bharatpur, due to which the general public was facing a lot of problems.
Keeping in view the solution of this problem, Chhattisgarh New police post Podi (Bachra) was included under Baikunthpur police station of Koriya district by the government.
