Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai has expressed gratitude to Prime Minister Modi on behalf of the people of Chhattisgarh for the decisions taken in the Union Cabinet under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi regarding the upliftment of the tribal community, farmers and consumer welfare.
Today, the Union Cabinet has approved the ‘Pradhan Mantri Janjati Unnat Gram Abhiyan’ and decided to continue the Pradhan Mantri Annadata Aay Sanrakshan Abhiyan (PM-ASHA) scheme till the year 2025-26. He has said that the people of the state will also get the benefit of these decisions.
Expressing his gratitude towards the Prime Minister, the Chief Minister said that the approval given by the Union Cabinet under the leadership of Honorable Prime Minister Narendra Modi to the ‘Prime Minister Janjati Unnat Gram Abhiyan’ in the direction of upliftment of the tribal community is historic.
This mission of the Prime Minister will bring improvement in the living standards and prosperity of the people of more than 63,000 tribal-dominated villages and tribal villages of aspiring districts in the country.
Certainly, the tribal brothers and sisters of our state will benefit from this. Heartfelt gratitude to the Prime Minister for this decision towards the upliftment of the tribal community and many best wishes to all the tribal brothers and sisters of the country and state.
Chief Minister Sai has said that the Union Cabinet has approved the continuation of the ‘Pradhan Mantri Annadata Aay Sanrakshan Abhiyan (PM-Asha) Yojana’ till the year 2025-26, which is highly commendable.
The total financial outlay of Rs. 35,000 crore under this scheme will help in providing remunerative prices to the farmers and controlling the fluctuation in prices of essential commodities for the consumers.
Certainly, the food producers and consumers of our state will benefit from this. Heartfelt gratitude to the respected Prime Minister for this decision dedicated to the welfare of farmers and consumers.
Chief Minister Sai said that the Union Cabinet, chaired by the illustrious Prime Minister Narendra Modi, has approved the nutrient-based subsidy rates for the continuous supply of fertilisers at affordable rates to our farmer brothers and sisters.
This initiative of fixing Nutrient Based Subsidy (NBS) rates on Phosphatic and Potassic (P&K) fertilizers for Rabi season 2024 will ensure availability of fertilizers to farmers at affordable and reasonable prices.
The farmers of our state will benefit from this. Heartfelt gratitude to the respected Prime Minister for this decision taken in the interest of farmers.
Chief Minister Sai has also praised the decisions taken in the field of space research. He said that the Union Cabinet has approved the Chandrayaan-4 mission.
The objective of this mission is to land a spacecraft on the Moon, collect samples, and return them safely to Earth.
Apart from this, the Union Cabinet has also approved Venus Orbiter Mission, Gaganyaan Follow-on Mission including establishment of Indian Space Station (BAS).
All these decisions reflect India’s strong presence in the field of space research. Thanks to the respected Prime Minister for this decision and best wishes to all the countrymen.
