Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai today inaugurated and performed Bhoomi Pujan of development works worth more than Rs 108 crore in Narayanpur district.

This includes inauguration of 29 newly constructed development works at a cost of Rs 22 crore 66 lakh and bhoomi pujan of 52 development works costing Rs 86 crore 12 lakh.

Chief Minister Sai inaugurated 07 development works costing Rs 1 crore 28 lakh under the Health Department in Narayanpur, 09 solar based tap water schemes established at a cost of Rs 4 crore 61 lakh under the Public Health Engineering Department, constructed at a cost of Rs 20 lakh under the Rural Engineering Service. 03 works costing Rs 6.5 lakh under Sarva Kurmi Kshatriya Samaj Bhawan, District Panchayat Orchha, 04 works costing Rs 75 lakh under District Panchayat Narayanpur, 04 works costing Rs 1 crore 94 lakh under Water Resources Department and by CREDA. Inaugurated 88 solar dual pumps installed at a cost of Rs 13 crore 82 lakh.

In this, 16 road construction works to be constructed under Chhattisgarh Rural Road Development Agency at a cost of Rs 55 crore 70 lakh, rural engineering service, construction of RRC culvert in Borgaon drain to be constructed at a cost of Rs 36.5 lakh and large jamhari access road from Borgaon. Construction, Anganwadi center building to be constructed at a cost of Rs 1 crore 58 lakh under Special Backward Tribal Group Scheme under Abujhmad Development Agency, Jharawahi and 100 houses to be constructed under Tribal Group Scheme Housing Construction, Health Department at a cost of Rs 17.5 crore. Bed based Maternity and Child Hospital Narayanpur and Community Health Center building Chhotedongar, Narva development works to be done at a cost of Rs 01 crore 33 lakh under Forest Department, 13 buildings to be constructed at a cost of Rs 01 crore 37 lakh under District Panchayat Orchha. Also performed Bhoomi Pujan of 12 solar based tap water schemes to be established at a cost of Rs 08 crore 27 lakh under the Works and Public Health Engineering Department.

On this occasion, Forest and Water Resources Minister Kedar Kashyap, Tribal Welfare Minister Ramvichar Netam, Commissioner Shyam Dhawade, Inspector General of Police Sundarraj P, Additional Director General of Police Amit Kumar, Collector Vipin Manjhi, Superintendent of Police Pushkar Srivastava and a large number of people were present.
