Tribute paid to immortal fighters on Martyr’s Day
Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai paid tribute to the Father of the Nation, late Mahatma Gandhi, by offering flowers on his photograph on his death anniversary at the State Guest House, Pahuna.
Takhatpur MLA Dharamjit Singh was also present on this occasion.
Paying tribute to the immortal martyrs of the country including Mahatma Gandhi, Chief Minister Sai said that the debt of the brave martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the country can never be repaid.
Recalling Mahatma Gandhi’s incredible contribution towards India’s independence, the Chief Minister said that Gandhiji showed the whole world how a big goal can be achieved by sticking to the path of truth and non-violence.
He said that Gandhiji’s thoughts are not only useful for the world even today, but solutions to many problems are also hidden in his thoughts and philosophy.
It is with his inspiration that a new and self-reliant India is being built.
Let us all take a pledge to follow the path of truth and non-violence taught by Gandhiji and contribute to the development of the nation. This would be a true tribute to Gandhiji.
