Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai has paid tribute to former Prime Minister of India Bharat Ratna Shri Lal Bahadur Shastri on his death anniversary on January 11.
Chief Minister Sai has said that Shastri ji dedicated his entire life to serving the country.
He adopted the guiding principle of simple living and high thinking throughout his life and set an example for the people. His contribution in building a strong India is incomparable.
Shastri ji played an active part in important movements of the Indian freedom struggle.
Also went to jail several times. His slogan of Jai Jawan-Jai Kisan honored the sacrifice of the soldiers and also the hard work of the Annadata farmers. The Chief Minister said that Shastri ji’s life values will always inspire everyone.
