Recalling Major Dhyan Chand’s invaluable contribution in the field of sports, SAI has said that Major Dhyan Chand ji has become the identity of hockey in India with his talent and dedication, love and discipline towards hockey.
With his magical game, India won three gold medals in the Olympic Games.
His birthday is celebrated as National Sports Day in India. The Chief Minister said that Major Dhyanchand’s dedication towards sports and feeling of patriotism is inspiring for all of us.
