Three people have been arrested for raising slogans of ‘Pakistan Zindabad’ in the Vidhana Soudha corridor in Bengaluru on February 27.

Police gave this information on Monday. After the victory of Congress leader Syed Naseer Hussain in the Rajya Sabha elections, his supporters raised slogans in support of Pakistan.

Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah had ordered an investigation by the Government Forensic Science Laboratory to ascertain the veracity of the allegations.

Based on the FSL report, the police have arrested three persons.

Police sources said that one accused is a resident of RT Nagar in Bengaluru, the other is from Byadgi in Haveri district and the third accused is a resident of Delhi. The accused, a resident of Byadagi, is said to be a chilli trader.

Meanwhile, BJP posted the investigation report prepared by ‘Clue4 Evidence Forensic Investigations Private Limited’ on its social media handle.

This report has been signed by audio forensic examiner Phanindra BN on behalf of the city’s ‘Samvada Foundation’. Non-profit organization ‘Samvada Foundation’ is reportedly linked to RSS.

BJP targeted Rahul Gandhi and said that close associates of the Congress MP have been arrested for raising slogans of ‘Pakistan Zindabad’.

BJP’s Karnataka unit posted on Twitter, ‘Rahul Gandhi is busy doing ‘Break India’ stunt. Bengaluru Police has arrested his close associates for raising ‘Pakistan Zindabad’ slogans.

Anti-national Congress workers should be charged with treason and investigated under UAPA.

Questions are being raised only after examining the video
Phanindra said that in his opinion the video of the incident ‘has not been tampered with and has been recorded in one go’. He said that in this case the question is whether ‘Nasir Saab Zindabad’ was said or ‘Pakistan Zindabad’, then the above analysis shows that ‘Pakistan Zindabad’ is more likely to be said.

State Home Minister G. Parameshwara questioned whether the person preparing this report had his own laboratory and whether he had done the analysis.

He said, ‘We will find out with whose permission they did this, who gave them the no objection certificate and whether they have the right to make such reports public.’
