According to media reports, when DK Suresh was asked on Wednesday about a possible candidate to replace Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, he had taken his brother’s name.
He was asked whether Shivkumar’s ambition of becoming the Chief Minister would be fulfilled. To this he replied, ‘Dreaming is not wrong. I am not saying that what you are saying is wrong. Dreams take time to come true.
On power sharing between Siddaramaiah and Shivakumar, he had said, ‘The high command has taken a decision regarding this matter.
I will not say anything now, but a time will come when Shivkumar’s dream will be fulfilled. In the 2023 assembly elections, Congress formed the government by winning 135 out of 224 seats.

Priyank Kharge, son of Congress national president Mallikarjun Kharge and minister in the Karnataka government, said that no one is aware of this. He said, ‘Nobody has the right to speak in this regard. This is going to be the decision of the high command.
