The minimum temperature recorded in Delhi today was 20.05 degrees Celsius. This time winter has been quite late in coming in the country, although cold has started in many areas. But the cold has still not reached Delhi-NCR. Due to increase in pollution in Delhi, there is smog all around.
According to the information released by the Meteorological Department, Delhi and its surrounding areas will have to wait for a few more days of cold. This morning too, a blanket of fog will be seen in Delhi.
What is the situation in North India?
Today the day temperature in Delhi can go up to 32 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature is expected to be 18 degrees Celsius. In many states of North India, mild cold is being felt in the morning and evening. But the heat is still felt due to the strong sunlight during the day. According to IMD, there is a possibility of fog in many cities of UP-Bihar even today.
IMD issued yellow alert in these states
According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of heavy rain in Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Kerala and Karaikal from today till November 14. Regarding which IMD has also issued a yellow alert.
Whereas IMD has issued ‘Orange’ alert for Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam and Pathanamthitta districts. Apart from this, ‘Yellow Alert’ has been issued for Alappuzha, Kottayam, Ernakulam and Idukki districts.
Cold may increase in Rajasthan
Winter has entered Rajasthan. People are feeling slight cold in the morning and evening in Rajasthan. IMD said, the temperature in Rajasthan may fall further in the coming days, due to which the cold may increase. Let us tell you that today and tomorrow the weather will be clear in many parts of this country. Also, there is a possibility of sunshine during the day and the maximum temperature is likely to be between 35 to 40 degrees Celsius. However, as the evening approaches, the temperature will drop and the effect of cold may increase.
