Dehradun. In Uttarakhand, cases of molestation and rape of women and girls are increasing, due to which the land of Gods is being tarnished. In Udham Singh Nagar, innocent girls are now the target of the beasts.
Recently, three minors gang-raped a 4-year-old girl in Sitarganj while playing. After this, the police took the minors into custody and sent them to the juvenile home. Just two days after this incident, another case came to light in Udham Singh Nagar. Here, a youth took a 5-year-old innocent to a room by luring her with chocolate and molested her. The police immediately registered a case and arrested the accused. After presenting him in the court, the accused youth was sent to jail.
Rudrapur’s CO City Niharika Tomar said that Rudrapur Kotwali police was informed through 112 that a 5-year-old innocent girl was molested. It was found that a young man living in the neighborhood took the 5-year-old innocent to his room on the pretext of giving her chocolate. He closed the door of the room and started molesting her. The innocent girl got scared and started screaming. After this, the innocent girl left from there and after reaching home, told her family about the incident.
