After Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai announced that February 14 will be celebrated as Mother-Father Puja Day, Culture Minister Aggarwal said during a discussion with journalists, “We have to give good values to our children and preserve our culture.” The government has decided to celebrate Mother-Father Worship Day in Chhattisgarh on 14th February on Basant Panchami.
He said that, Honorable Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai has given instructions to celebrate Mother-Father Puja Day on 14th February. Worship your parents, touch their feet and seek their blessings.
There is nothing in the world greater than the service and blessings of parents. The basic mantra of success in life is service to parents and their blessings.
Therefore, on the day of Basant Panchami, on 14th February, Mother-Father Worship Day will be celebrated all over Chhattisgarh. All schools, colleges as well as social organizations should organize special events on this day and ask children to respect their parents and seek their blessings.
Minister Aggarwal said that earlier also Mother-Father Puja Day was celebrated by our government. He said that without values and culture we cannot become good citizens and without it a good nation cannot be built.
Minister Aggarwal said that to sow the seeds of values in children, our government has decided to celebrate Mother-Father Worship Day on 14th February.
