A Canadian cyclist named Robert Murray has set a rare record. Murray achieved the Guinness World Record by cycling 130.29 kilometers in 5 hours and 37 hours without touching the handle.
During this journey he did not even touch his handle, he was just balancing the bicycle with his legs. Murray expressed happiness over this achievement. He said that he is doing this adventure to raise money to help Alzheimer’s patients.
Where did you get inspiration from?
Murray said his grandmother died from Alzheimer’s disease and that’s when he decided to do something to help patients. He told that he has been fond of cycling since childhood. He said that at that time it was difficult to ride a bicycle for at least 10 kilometers without touching the handle. But he said that with daily practice it became easier to achieve this feat.
