According to the Meteorological Department, this storm will reach the coasts adjacent to Odisha and West Bengal on October 24, due to which there may be heavy rains in both the states for three days. Meteorologists have advised fishermen not to go into the sea between October 23 and 25. Wind speed is likely to reach 60 kmph along Odisha-West Bengal coasts from Wednesday and will gradually increase to 100-110 kmph. The India Meteorological Department said it is likely to cross North Odisha and West Bengal coasts between Puri and Sagar Island on the night of October 24 and morning of October 25.
