Instructions given to departmental officers to work in coordination
Deputy Chief Minister Arun Sao today reviewed the works of Public Works, Public Health Engineering and Urban Administration and Development Department under his charge in Janjgir.
He gave necessary instructions to the district level officers of the three departments regarding departmental work. He asked to complete the construction works with quality.
He gave instructions to complete all the works within the time limit. He also asked to effectively deliver the benefits of various public welfare schemes including PM Awas, Pradhan Mantri Vishwakarma Yojana, Ayushman Card directly to the public. Said to deliver 100%.
He instructed all the officers to complete the work by making departmental coordination.
Janjgir-Champa Collector Akash Chhikara gave detailed information about the departmental schemes to Deputy Chief Minister Arun Sao in the review meeting. MP Guharam Ajgale, MLA Vyas Kashyap and senior public representatives also attended the meeting.
Deputy Chief Minister Sao said in the meeting that the best quality of construction works should be the first priority. Complete all tasks within the mandatory time limit.
He said that if the work is not completed within the time limit, accountability of the concerned officer will be fixed. He directed the officers of the three departments to take necessary steps to increase the quality of work and improve the functioning for better monitoring.
He said that we have to do good work according to the responsibility given to us towards the public. He asked to complete the road repair work as soon as possible.
Deputy Chief Minister Sao said in the meeting that water should be ensured to every household through Jal Jeevan Mission.
Along with this, he asked to do the work of PM Awas and PM Vishwakarma Yojana on priority. He said that the scheme should be publicized and implemented with the cooperation of public representatives.
Deputy Chief Minister Sao said that basic facilities should be provided to the citizens of urban areas on priority. He gave instructions to curb the construction of illegal colonies.
Instructions were given to run special campaigns and organize camps for revenue collection in urban areas. He directed for continuous monitoring of electricity, water, roads and other construction works.
He asked all the chief municipal officers to go to the field in the morning and inspect the construction work and cleaning works.
