Discussion held on promoting sports activities in Chhattisgarh
Deputy Chief Minister Arun Saw today on National Sports Day paid a courtesy visit to Kapil Dev, former cricketer and President of Professional Golf Tour of India, who won India its first One-Day Cricket World Cup.
During the meeting held at Chhattisgarh Sadan in New Delhi, the two discussed promoting sports activities in Chhattisgarh.
Deputy Chief Minister Arun Saw is on a visit to New Delhi these days.
On August 27, he inspected the state’s Tribal Youth Hostel in Dwarka, New Delhi and met the youth staying there and preparing for competitive exams.
During this period, Deputy Chief Minister Sao discussed with them and inquired about their education and the facilities being provided in the hostel.
He also visited Chhattisgarh Niwas in New Delhi and reviewed the arrangements there.
During his stay in New Delhi, Deputy Chief Minister Saw is continuously holding meetings with officials and discussing issues related to the state.
