Deputy Chief Minister and Technical Education and Employment Science and Technology Minister Vijay Sharma conducted a surprise inspection of Chhattisgarh Regional Science Centre, an institute under his department.
During the inspection, he discussed with the scientists and officials of Chhattisgarh Science and Technology Council and Chhattisgarh Regional Science Center and took information about the schemes and projects being run.
Deputy Chief Minister Sharma told during the inspection that various construction related projects of the government going on in the state will be monitored through remote sensing technology.
He praised the programs being carried out by the institutions of the Department of Science and Technology to develop interest in science among the students and researchers coming from across the state and provided guidance for the responsibilities of the department in the direction of modern science.
Deputy Chief Minister Sharma gave guidance to make the government a partner in the work being done by the institutions in public interest.
During the inspection, MLA of Katghora assembly constituency Premchand Patel, Director General of Chhattisgarh Science and Technology Council S.S. Bajaj and all the scientists and officers of Chhattisgarh Regional Science Center and Chhattisgarh Science and Technology Council were present.
