Republican Party’s presidential candidate in America, Donald Trump has said that if he wins, he will create a separate department for Elon Musk.
He has said that after victory he will form a ‘Government Efficiency Commission’ whose chief will be Elon Musk. Before the election, he was giving a speech in a rally on the economy.
He said at the New York Economic Club that after becoming the President, he will make a big cut in the corporate tax of domestic manufacturing companies. Apart from this, he will also reduce the tax on the purchase of government land to set up new companies.
Trump said that he would start a wealth fund for companies. According to a Reuters report, Donald Trump has been in talks with his aides for several weeks about the Efficiency Commission.
However, this is the first time he has publicly revealed his plan. He also said that Elon Musk has agreed to head this commission.
Although Donald Trump did not explain how this commission would work, he did claim that within 6 months, fraud and wrongful money transactions would be curbed.
Donald Trump said that this commission will also include his former Treasury Secretary Steve Mnuchin and other colleagues. He said, the Efficiency Commission will have the right to conduct complete financial and performance audits in government departments.
