An American court has imposed a heavy fine on former US President Donald Trump.

Judge Arthur Angoron of a New York court has ordered Trump and his companies to pay a penalty of about $ 355 million, or Rs 29.46 thousand crore, in the fraud case.

The court order states that Trump will also have to pay millions of dollars of interest on that amount of fine.

Apart from this, the court has also banned Donald Trump from acting as an officer or director in a New York corporation.

The court has said that Trump cannot hold any post in any other legal entities in the state for three years and also cannot apply for loan from any financial institution for any of his registered companies.
