Egypt warns Israel, regional war may break out in the Middle East

Cairo. Egyptian PM Mustafa Madbouly has issued a warning over Israel’s unilateral actions, which he said could spark a wider regional war in the Middle East. Describing the incidents on Tuesday as dangerous, he has demanded immediate intervention from the international community and influential powers. He has appealed for a ceasefire to maintain regional security and stability.
According to media reports, PM Mustafa particularly criticized Israel’s aggression in Lebanon and rejected any attempts to weaken Lebanon’s sovereignty. The Egyptian Cabinet has also appealed for a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip and Lebanon, calling it an important step to reduce tension. Let us tell you that on Tuesday Iran had launched a major missile attack on Israel. In response, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that Iran would have to pay a price. Israel recently launched a ground military operation against Hezbollah in Lebanon. As part of this action, Israel has also intensified air strikes in Lebanon, which is increasing tension in the entire Middle East.
