Jammu . An encounter has started between security forces and terrorists on Saturday near the LoC in Jammu and Kashmir. According to information, firing is taking place in Gurez sector. Additional security forces have been sent to the spot. At present, the entire area has been cordoned off and a search operation has been launched. It is being told that two to three terrorists are surrounded at the spot. However, there is no official confirmation about the number of terrorists yet.
Two days ago, on August 29, security forces foiled two terrorist infiltration plans in Kupwara, a border district of North Kashmir. In the encounters that took place in Tangdhar and Machil sectors, security forces killed three Pakistani terrorists. A large quantity of arms and ammunition was recovered from them.
