According to information, Utsav Mandal, a resident of Khulna, was beaten up by the mob in front of the police. Initially, he was declared dead but later the Bangladesh Army’s ISPR said that he is alive and is undergoing treatment in the hospital.
ISPR said in its statement that Utva will be handed over to the legal agencies. A case of blasphemy has also been registered against him.
The army says that the mob attacked the youth but the army saved him. Let us tell you that the Hindu youth was already accused of blasphemy.
He was accused of hurting religious sentiments. The ISPR has also said that legal action will be taken against Mandal for the alleged charges of blasphemy.
