Visakhapatnam. Three bogies of the Korba-Visakhapatnam Express train parked at Visakhapatnam railway station caught fire on Sunday. No one was injured in this accident, but three bogies of the train were burnt to ashes. There was chaos all around after seeing the fire in the train.

The fire spread to two other coaches within no time


According to the information, Korba- Visakhapatnam Express train reached Visakhapatnam on Sunday morning. After this, it was seen that the fire broke out in AC coach B-7, which spread to two other coaches in no time. Taking precaution, the fire brigade personnel present there immediately controlled the fire and extinguished it. There is no report of any casualty due to this.

The exact cause of the fire accident could not be ascertained


Police say that the exact cause of the train fire accident is not known, investigation is going on. The fire in the train caused panic among the passengers present at Visakhapatnam railway station. Seeing the fire raging in the train, there was a commotion in the entire station. Panicked passengers were seen running here and there. In a short while, silence spread on the railway platform. As soon as the information about the fire in the train was received, police, fire brigade and administrative officials reached the station. The fire was brought under control while taking relief measures. It is suspected that the fire in the AC coach might have been caused due to a short circuit. According to the information, coach B6, B7 and A1 of the train were completely burnt in this fire. Let us tell you here that Korba- Visakhapatnam 18517 Express left Korba at 4:10 pm on Saturday. The train started from Bilaspur Junction and passed through Raipur Junction, Mahasamund, Parvatipuram Town, Parvatipuram, Bobbili, Vijayanagaram Junction and Simhachalam and reached Visakhapatnam on Sunday morning.
