A passenger van was attacked with a gun in the Kurram area of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan, in which 38 people died. It is being told that the passenger van going in the convoy from Parachinar in Kurram has been targeted. According to the information, the death toll is likely to increase.
Fear of increasing death toll
No terrorist group has yet claimed responsibility for the terrorist attack in Kurram area of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Pakistan Army has also not given information as to who is behind this. Medical Superintendent of THQ Hospital said that the injured were being referred to various hospitals in the district and some to Peshawar for treatment. The condition of many people is said to be serious. According to Pakistan’s news agency, KP Chief Secretary said that the death toll is likely to increase.

Earlier, a suicide bomber rammed a vehicle laden with explosives into a joint check post in Pakistan’s north-western Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, killing 12 security personnel. While giving this information on Wednesday, the Army had said that in the encounter that followed, six terrorists were killed.
