Fog hits five states, mercury reaches 8 degrees in Bhopal

New Delhi. Cold period has started in North India. Fog is prevalent in five states of the country including UP-Bihar. The temperature in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh on Saturday night reached 8 degrees. This was the lowest temperature in November in the last 36 years. It is snowing in Kashmir. There may be snowfall in the higher reaches of Ladakh, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand in the next two days. According to IMD, after landfall on November 30, the Fengal storm is stalled in Puducherry, but it is likely to weaken within a few hours. Rainy season continues in Tamil Nadu also. Whereas in the capital Delhi, AQI has reached 375. It is still in very poor category. On the instructions of the Supreme Court, the ban on Grape-4 will continue till December 2.
