Folk artistes participating in Chhattisgarh’s tableau Bastar’s Adim Jan Sansad Muria Darbar met President Smt. Draupadi Murmu at Rashtrapati Bhavan, New Delhi today.

The President appreciated the tableau of the state and the performance of all the artists. The artists who reached Rashtrapati Bhavan to meet the President also expressed their happiness on this special occasion.

It is noteworthy that Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai had sent the artists involved in the tableau from Chhattisgarh to New Delhi with his good wishes.

President Smt. Draupadi Murmu, while addressing the artists from all the states, said that this time the Republic Day parade is dedicated to the women power of the country.

A glimpse of a developed and strong India was visible in the tableaus of various states of the country. In the tableau of Chhattisgarh, the primitive parliament of the tribes was displayed on the theme of mother of democracy.

President Smt. Murmu said that the country and the world have seen India’s unity in diversity during the Republic Day celebrations. Artists coming from different parts of the country would have become familiar with the customs and cultural splendor of each other’s states.
