German Chancellor Oluf Schulze announced to provide air defense system to Ukrainian Army in 2025

Kiev. Germany’s Chancellor Oluf Schulze, who reached Ukraine’s capital Kiev on Monday without any announcement, has announced to provide new air defense systems to the Ukrainian Army in 2025. Also assured Ukraine that Germany will provide military aid worth $680 million to Ukraine in December as per the pre-determined schedule.

This was Schultz’s second visit to Ukraine during the war. In a joint press conference with Schultz, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky told the Ukrainian Army the need for two dozen new air defense systems to protect specific locations.

In Kiev, Schultz said, Russian President wants to clearly tell Putin that we are with Ukraine and will stand together in the future also. He said, the Russian President should withdraw his troops from Ukraine, this is necessary for regional peace.

America is now preparing to provide arms assistance worth $725 million to Ukraine. In this assistance, systems to thwart drone attacks, anti-landmine systems and long-range rocket systems will be provided. With this additional military assistance, it has become clear that President Joe Biden, before completing his term on January 20, wants to give Ukraine enough weapons with which it can easily fight Russia for several months.
