Governor Shri Ramen Deka today paid a courtesy call on Union Finance Minister Smt. Nirmala Sitharaman in New Delhi.

Shri Deka discussed in detail with the Union Finance Minister regarding promoting the economy of Chhattisgarh through domestic institutional investment and foreign institutional investment in various sectors.

Apart from this, the Governor proposed to organize Chhattisgarh Investors Summit 2025 with an ambitious vision of making Chhattisgarh a prosperous economy.

Its objective is to promote excellent investment in various sectors of large and small industries, technology, health, education with proper utilization of available resources in the state. He said that such investment will create employment opportunities for the youth of Chhattisgarh.

Mr. Deka told Mrs. Sitharaman that Chhattisgarh has abundant natural, mineral and forest resources, due to which there is immense potential for development in Chhattisgarh.

From this point of view, organizing investor conference in Chhattisgarh is important. He also discussed many other issues regarding the development of Chhattisgarh with the Finance Minister.
