Congress is going to make some promises in its manifesto which have not been made till now. Congress party can present the German model in its manifesto.
What is the German model of employment?
Rahul Gandhi often accuses the Modi government of playing with the future of the youth. Apart from this, the issue of paper leak is also raised.
Now Congress is considering Germany’s dual education model. However, it will be presented only after adapting it to the Indian situation.
Under this model, vocational education and training system is kept along with education. This model gives an opportunity to work in a company while studying in a vocational school.
This makes it easier for the youth to get employment after education. Congress leaders believe that the youth of the country need to be given an attractive offer to enter the job market.
However this work is not easy. To do this, both private and government sectors will have to become part of the education model.
If sources are to be believed, the Manifesto Committee of the Congress Party headed by former Union Minister P Chidambaram is going to complete its work soon.
The party believes that the apprenticeship model will definitely attract the youth of the country. It is possible that the apprenticeship period and the stipend along with it may also be mentioned in the manifesto itself.
According to The Indian Express, sources said that under this model youth can easily start jobs. It is a Right to Employment type model in which anyone can seek a job as per their rights for one year.
According to the information, the Congress party does not want to leave the issue of paper leak in its manifesto. Recently, the Central Government has made a strict law regarding paper leaks so that the noose can be tightened against those who get cheated in an organized manner.
However, the Congress party is going to go one step further and promise compensation to the candidates. Apart from this, Congress will also promise a scheme for startup business to the youth.
