Tel Aviv. On the anniversary of the war with Hamas, Israeli Defense Forces claimed that they have foiled a major rocket attack plan by Hamas. According to the army, Hamas had prepared a massive rocket attack on Israel, which was foiled in time. Before 6:30 am, Israeli warplanes targeted several Hamas rocket launchers and tunnels in Gaza. Meanwhile, Hamas launched four rockets in the Sufa area, three of which were intercepted and one fell in an open area.
Israeli Defense Forces reported that overnight they attacked several Hamas positions in central Gaza that were considered a threat to Israeli forces in the Netzarim corridor area. This action was taken with the aim of ensuring the security of Israeli forces and weakening the activities of Hamas in Gaza. On Sunday, the Israeli Defense Forces had already warned that Hamas could carry out attacks on the first anniversary of the October 7 massacre, and because of this Israeli forces were reinforced in Gaza and along the border. The Israeli Defense Forces also said that they are fully prepared to face any threat and are committed to giving a strong response to any attack.
