Meanwhile, the father of a martyred Israeli soldier claimed that Hamas terrorists killed his 19-year-old son by slitting his throat and took his head to Gaza.
Then the severed head was auctioned off for lakhs, claiming it to be the head of an Israeli soldier.
In an interview given to Israel’s local Channel 14, David Tahar has made sensational revelations about Hamas terrorists. He says that his son Adir Tahar was a member of the Israeli army.
When Hamas terrorists suddenly attacked Israel on October 7, hundreds of people died. During this attack, Hamas terrorists also killed his 19-year-old son Adir.
Not only this, brutality was also done to his son’s dead body.
David told local Channel 14, “Hamas terrorists did unspeakable things to my son’s body. They took his head with them to Gaza. “It was kept on the freezer along with tennis balls and other documents.” He said, “I did everything I could, it was not easy, in the end, I got the torso of the son and I had to perform the last rites without the head.”
Searched for months for son’s head
The grieving father said his son’s body was found after arriving at Israel’s national cemetery, Mount Herzl, when he opened the coffin and identified his son.
The son’s body was identified after DNA test. The body was unrecognizable. “I identified him through DNA testing and the things in his pants,” David said.
He says that after that for two months I kept searching for my son’s head. I found many scary videos and pictures on the internet, which showed that terrorists had taken his son’s head to Gaza.
Head auctioned for Rs 8 lakh
Later, David received official information that Hamas terrorists had tried to sell his son’s head for $10,000 (about eight lakh rupees) by publicizing it as the head of a soldier.
“This is an extremely barbaric act,” he said. Son Adir’s head was later found inside a freezer in Gaza, hidden inside a duffel bag along with tennis balls and some documents, David said.
According to David, he has buried his son’s head.
