In these pictures, stray dogs are seen eating abandoned dead bodies. Gaza’s emergency services chief Fares Afana said he and his colleagues found bodies of Palestinians killed in northern Gaza, many of which bore signs of being eaten by animals. Afana said, hungry stray dogs are eating these dead bodies on the road. This has made it difficult for us to even identify the dead bodies. Now Gaza, which is grappling with tragedy, is not able to even cremate the dead bodies. Israel has claimed that Hamas fighters are regrouping in these areas.
On October 7 last year, Hamas attacked Israel. 1,206 people were killed in these attacks, mostly civilians. Since then, 42,409 people have been killed in Gaza due to Israeli attacks while more than 99,153 people have been injured. On Wednesday, the Gaza Health Ministry said that 65 Palestinians had been killed in Israeli military attacks in the last 24 hours. Meanwhile, UNRWA has warned of the risk of famine in Gaza. UNRWA chief Philippe Lazzarini has said that the possibility of famine and acute malnutrition remains in Gaza. He said that it has become a kind of barren land and this place is not even suitable for living.
