The railway track between Kesamudram and Mehboobabad in Telangana was washed away. All trains on the Delhi-Vijayawada route have been stopped. About 6 trains going to and coming from Andhra and Telangana have been cancelled and 9 have been diverted. At the same time, the rain system has become active again in MP. Rain started with strong winds in Bhopal and Indore at around 3 pm. Dark clouds covered Vidisha at around 2 pm and water started falling. In a few minutes, low-lying areas were flooded. The pandal erected in the cultural building for the program of Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan collapsed.
The weather department has predicted heavy rains in Telangana on Monday. Due to this, all schools will remain closed on Monday. There is also a 5-day alert in Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh. There is a possibility of heavy rains in MP-Rajasthan with the beginning of September. The weather department has also predicted floods and landslides. 24 crocodiles entered residential areas in Vadodara, Gujarat between 27 and 29 August.

The Meteorological Department has predicted heavy rains in Karnataka, Kerala, Maharashtra, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Sikkim, Manipur, Assam, Nagaland, Tripura, Arunachal Pradesh, Meghalaya, Rajasthan, Haryana, Chandigarh, Punjab, Uttarakhand, Jammu and Kashmir on September 2. Orange and yellow alerts for rain will remain in many districts of Gujarat for the next 3 days. The Meteorological Department has predicted heavy rains in Himachal Pradesh on September 2.
