Bhopal . There is a possibility of rain in the districts of Rewa, Shahdol, Jabalpur, Bhopal, Sagar and Gwalior divisions in MP today (Wednesday). There may be heavy rain at some places in the districts of Rewa, Shahdol and Jabalpur divisions. There are chances of light rain in the remaining areas as well. According to the Meteorological Department, the deep depression formed around Jharkhand has now reached northern Chhattisgarh after weakening. On the other hand, there was heavy rain at different places in the capital on Tuesday evening. This brought coolness in the atmosphere. A depression area is formed around northern Chhattisgarh. The monsoon trough is formed from Dehradun, Orai through the deep depression area to Gopalpur and up to the Bay of Bengal. A cyclone is formed in the upper part of the air around northern Haryana. The western disturbance is formed in the form of a trough around Pakistan. According to the information received from the Meteorological Center, from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm on Tuesday, Rewa received 98 mm rainfall, Sidhi 71 mm, Satna 53 mm, Sagar 31 mm, Mandla 26 mm, Gwalior 20 mm, Narsinghpur 18 mm, Damoh 14 mm, Jabalpur and Naugaon 10 mm, Umaria and Narmadapuram 9 mm, Tikamgarh 8 mm, Khajuraho 7 mm, Shivpuri 6 mm, Pachmarhi 4 mm, Chhindwara and Malajkhand 2 mm, Seoni 1 mm and Dhar and Guna received 0.2 mm rainfall. Former senior meteorologist Ajay Shukla said that the depression area is likely to weaken and turn into a low pressure area on Wednesday. There are indications of this weather system moving towards northern Madhya Pradesh and adjoining southern Uttar Pradesh. Due to its effect, there is a possibility of rain in Rewa, Shahdol, Jabalpur, Bhopal, Sagar, Gwalior and the districts of the division. There may be heavy rainfall in some places in the districts of Rewa, Shahdol, Jabalpur division. Light rainfall may also occur in the remaining areas.
