Israel’s army IDF wrote in a post shared on social media platform X that ‘Hassan Nasrallah will never again be able to terrorize the world’. On Friday, rumors of the killing of Hezbollah chief Hassan Nasrallah in an Israeli airstrike in Beirut, Lebanon, started at the same time when information came to light that the Israeli army had targeted the headquarters of Hezbollah. Also, after the attack, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu also left his US tour midway and left for Israel. Since then there were speculations about the death of Hezbollah’s top leader. Now the Israeli Army has proved these speculations true by confirming the death of Hassan Nasrallah. However, till now no statement has been given by Hezbollah regarding this.
Destroyed underground Hezbollah hideout
On Friday, the Israeli army carried out air strikes on several targets in Lebanon’s capital Beirut. Hezbollah positions were targeted in these attacks. Now the Israeli army has issued a statement saying that in their attack, Hezbollah chief Hassan Nasrallah and Hezbollah’s southern front chief Ali Karaki have been killed along with several other commanders. The Israeli military said the target was Hezbollah’s headquarters in a southern suburb of Beirut, which was located underground beneath residential buildings.
Many top commanders of Hezbollah and Hassan Nasrallah’s daughter Zainab also died.
The IDF said the top Hezbollah commander was planning an attack on Israel with other associates, when the attack killed Nasrallah and several other top Hezbollah commanders. Earlier, there was news of the death of Hezbollah’s missile unit chief Mohammad Ali Ismail and his deputy Hussein Ahmed Ismail in the Israeli attack. Besides, Hassan Nasralla’s daughter Zainab Nasralla was also claimed to have died. Hezbollah’s missile and rocket force chief Mohammed Kabisi was also killed along with several other top commanders in the recent attacks in Lebanon.
Top commander of Hamas also killed in Syria
While on one hand the Israeli army is fighting with Hamas in Gaza, on the other hand the Israeli army has also opened a front against Hezbollah in Lebanon. While on one hand the news of the death of Hezbollah chief Hassan Nasrallah has come to light, on the other hand Israel has also killed a top leader of Hamas in Syria. The top Hamas commander killed in an airstrike in Syria has been identified as Ahmed Mohammed Fahd, who was behind the rocket attacks in Israel’s Golan Heights.
