Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said his country is attacking Hezbollah “with full force” and will not stop until its goals are achieved.
Meanwhile, Israel Defense Forces (IDF), while striking deep inside Lebanon, has accused Hezbollah of hiding its weapons in populated areas.
The IDF released a video stating that Hezbollah has been building its terrorist network within populated areas of southern Lebanon for the past 20 years and has turned the area into a launchpad for attacks on Israel.
“Hezbollah doesn’t want you to see this video, and they don’t want you to share it,” the IDF said in the video.
The video, posted on “X”, comes at a time when Israel is facing criticism over attacks on populated areas in Lebanon.
The IDF reported that it had launched a defensive operation against Hezbollah, attacking hundreds of Hezbollah targets based on accurate intelligence.
Israel claims that these attacks are aimed at thwarting planned attacks by Hezbollah, in which they were planning to use hidden weapons to attack Israeli homes.
“Our goal is to ensure that Israeli families can safely return to their homes,” the IDF statement said.
In the latest attacks today, Israel bombed a Hezbollah commander’s hideout in neighborhoods south of Beirut.
According to news agency AFP, a source close to Hezbollah said that the attack was targeted at a Hezbollah commander.
It is the fourth attack on Hezbollah commanders in the region in the past week.
