Palestinians are taking refuge in other countries to save their lives. Meanwhile, a report has come that Russia’s Muslim-dominated Republic of Chechnya is building houses for Palestinians fleeing to save their lives from Gaza.
Russian President Vladimir Putin is also helping in this work. Chechen Republic leader Ramzan Kadyrov has announced that buildings are being built in places where schools and hospitals are close.
Russia’s Muslim-majority republic of Chechnya has started building apartments for Palestinians fleeing Israeli attacks in Gaza. Ramzan Kadyrov, leader of the Republic of Chechnya, said five blocks each were being built, with each block containing 35 apartments.
The buildings will be located adjacent to a school and nursery. “With great pleasure, I congratulate the settlers who will soon find new homes,” Kadyrov said on Telegram. “I am trying to garner even more aid and support for the people of Gaza.”
The Republic of Chechnya is also getting help from Russian President Vladimir Putin for this project. According to the regional government, each family will be provided with 100,000 rubles ($1,120).
Officials said about 130 million rubles ($1.45 million) have been allocated for humanitarian aid to Gaza and the settlement of refugees.
