Huge quantity of drugs recovered from Superlab in Canada – NNSP

Toronto. A special unit of the RCMP has busted the largest illegal drug lab operating in Canada. A huge quantity of drugs, chemicals and weapons have been recovered from the illegal drug lab. Also, Gaganpreet Singh Randhawa, a person of Indian origin, has been arrested. As part of this operation, officers seized 54 kilograms of fentanyl, 390 kilograms of methamphetamine, 35 kilograms of cocaine, 15 kilograms of MDMA and six kilograms of cannabis. The RCMP’s federal police chief, Assistant Commissioner David Tebull, said the 95 million potentially lethal doses of fentanyl seized could have killed every Canadian at least twice over. In addition to the drugs, officers seized 89 firearms, including dozens of handguns, AR-style assault rifles and submachine guns, many of which were loaded. Explosive devices, large quantities of ammunition, silencers, high capacity magazines, body armor and $500,000 in cash were also recovered. Corporal Arash Saeed, media relations officer for federal policing in the Pacific region, said in a written statement that RCMP federal investigators conducted an enforcement action in Metro Vancouver on October 25, 2024. He said that this raid has dealt a major blow to the international organized crime group.

Randhawa faces many drug and fire arms charges
Assistant Commissioner David Teboul said Randhawa faces several drug and firearms charges. More arrests are expected as the investigation continues. The drug super lab of an international organized crime group involved in the production and distribution of huge quantities of illegal drugs has been dismantled after several months of investigation. Teboul said the suspect, Gaganpreet Randhawa, was identified and arrested by officers of Federal Police Group 6. Randhawa is currently in custody and has been charged with six crimes.
