The dictatorial face of South Korean ruler Kim Jong Un has been exposed again.

According to media reports, 30 government officials were hanged for failing to prevent floods in the country.

Some more officials have been ordered to be given death penalty. Let us tell you that more than 1000 people have died in North Korea so far due to floods. Most of the deaths have occurred due to heavy rains and landslides in Chagang province.

Chosun TV claimed in its report that the North Korean government has vowed to take tough action against officials who are accused of failing to prevent the death toll from rising.

Chosun TV quoted a North Korean official as saying those responsible would face severe punishment. The report also claimed that 20 to 30 officials in the flood-affected area were killed simultaneously late last month.

The North Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) reported that Kim Jong Un had ordered severe punishment of officials following devastating floods in Chagang province near the Chinese border in July.

According to KCNA, at an emergency politburo meeting held in Sinuiju, Kim Jong Un asked his officials to strictly punish those who neglected their responsibilities for disaster management.

In July, the northwestern province was hit by devastating floods, leaving thousands of residents homeless and killing several people. According to South Korean media, the death toll from the floods may exceed 1,000.
