I am going to Delhi for army recruitment, the Parliament intruder came after telling my parents…

Amol Shinde, who was arrested for protesting outside the Parliament House on Wednesday, had told his family in Maharashtra’s Latur district that he was going to Delhi to take part in the Army recruitment drive.

A local police officer gave this information. The two people who protested outside the Parliament have been identified as Neelam (42), resident of Ghasokhurd village in Jind district of Haryana, and Amol Shinde (25), resident of Jari village in Chakur tehsil of Latur, Maharashtra.

The two people who opened a gas can and spread smoke outside the Parliament House raised slogans like ‘dictatorship will not work’, ‘Bharat Mata ki Jai’ and ‘Jai Bhim, Jai Bharat’.

After the incident in Delhi, Latur police team reached Shinde’s house. A Chakur police officer said Shinde belonged to the Scheduled Caste community and was a graduate.

According to police, as per preliminary information, Shinde had also worked as a daily wage laborer while preparing for police and army recruitment examinations.

Shinde’s two brothers and parents also work as daily wage labourers, the official said.

The officer said that the parents told the police that Amol had left home on December 9 saying that he was going to Delhi for army recruitment. Since he had taken part in such recruitment drives before, his parents did not find it unusual, the officer said. He said that Shinde was not associated with any political party or movement.

Police caught the fifth accused, a conspiracy was hatched a few days ago

Five of the six accused involved in the burglary incident that took place during Parliament security on Wednesday have been arrested. Police sources gave this information.

According to the police, the six accused breached the security of Parliament through a well-coordinated, carefully planned conspiracy. Police sources said that accused Amol Shinde and Neelam were caught from outside the Parliament House, while Sagar Sharma and Manoranjan D were caught from inside the Lok Sabha. They are in police custody.

Police suspect that he also has two more accomplices, Lalit and Vishal. Sources said Vishal has been detained from Gurugram, while Delhi Police teams have been sent to various places to nab Lalit.
