I want justice from my countrymen – Sheikh Hasina – NNSP

New Delhi . In her first statement after leaving Bangladesh, former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina said that those involved in the Bangladesh violence should be investigated.
Sheikh Hasina has demanded that the rioters in Bangladesh be punished. She has demanded justice in the case of the destruction of the statue of her father and Bangladesh’s founder Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
In an emotional three-page statement posted on Instagram by her son, Sheikh Hasina recalled the family members who were martyred along with the assassination of his father in 1975.
More than 230 people have been killed in incidents of violence that erupted across the country after the fall of the Sheikh Hasina-led government in Bangladesh on August 5. The total number of people killed in this violence has risen to 560 since the first anti-quota protests began in mid-July.
After the fall of the Hasina-led government, an interim government has been formed in Bangladesh and 84-year-old Nobel laureate Muhammad Yunus has been made its interim head. Yunus announced the portfolios of his 16-member advisory council last week.
