IAF fighter jet accidentally dropped air store near Pokhran, 8 feet deep crater created in firing range

An air store of Indian Air Force (IAF) fighter plane was inadvertently dropped near Pokhran firing range area. An inquiry has been ordered by IAF to investigate the matter. The incident occurred during a routine operation when the air stores – war material usually carried on the side of the aircraft, carrying bombs or other military equipment – ​​were being carried. The exact reasons involved in the malfunction of the air stroke are not known.

It is being told that a dangerous explosion took place today when a bomb-like object fell from an Air Force fighter aircraft in the Ramdevra area of ​​Jaisalmer in Rajasthan. Due to which an 8 feet deep crater was formed in the Pokhran Field Firing Range.

The Pokhran Firing Range, located in the Thar Desert of Rajasthan, is a major site for testing and training exercises of the Indian Armed Forces.
