Amid the consecration of Ramlala idol in Ayodhya, a Congress leader has given the credit for the construction of Ram temple to Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
He has also said that if Narendra Modi had not been the Prime Minister of the country, Ram temple would not have been built.
The leader who praised PM Modi for the Ram temple is Acharya Pramod Krishnam, who has also criticized the Congress leadership for not attending the consecration ceremony.
Acharya Pramod Krishnam, while talking to news agency ANI, praised PM Modi and said that this auspicious day has come because of him.
Kalki Peethadhishwar Acharya Pramod Krishnam said, ‘The temple has been constructed as per the court’s decision. The Supreme Court gave its decision. The construction of the temple of Lord Shri Ram Janmabhoomi started. Now life is respected. It is true that the temple was built as per the decision of the court, but if Modi had not been the Prime Minister of the country, if there had been any other PM in his place, then this decision would not have been taken, this temple would not have been built. I want to give the credit of this auspicious day of construction and consecration of Ram Mandir to Narendra Modi.
The Congress leader further said, ‘How many governments have come, how many Prime Ministers have come, Vishwa Hindu Parishad, RSS, Bajrang Dal, saints and mahatmas have made huge sacrifices. It is a very long struggle, but if Modi had not been the Prime Minister of the country, the temple would not have been constructed.
What is expulsion, ready to behead in the name of Ram: Krishnam
Pramod Krishnam, who is giving a statement different from the party’s stand on the issue of Ram temple, said that he is ready to behead in the name of Ram.
He said in a TV channel programme, ‘I am ready to cut off my head in the name of Lord Ram. What is expulsion and if I am sacrificed in the name of Lord Ram, then what greater good fortune can I have than this.
The question is not about politics, not about governments. Governments will come and go, power will come and go, parties will be formed and will deteriorate. But we always were, are and will always be.
Someone can expel me from any party, but not from the hearts of the public. What does not belong to Ram is of no use.
