Imran Khan will not get free bread in jail, will have to work as a labourer? New restrictions before elections…

Former Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan is in jail and strictness has been increased against him.

Khan and former foreign minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi will have to undergo rigorous imprisonment in the jail complex despite being high-profile prisoners.

This information was given in a news published in the media. Both the leaders were sentenced to 10 years in jail by the special court in the cipher case.

Both of them are lodged in the high-security Adiala jail in Rawalpindi, where the case against them was pending.

Khan, 71, and Qureshi, 67, are being kept separately as high-profile prisoners as one of them is a former prime minister and the other a foreign minister, The Express Tribune newspaper reported.

Imran Khan is the founding chairman of his Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) party while Qureshi is the vice-chairman of the party.

It said both leaders were taking advantage of the same facilities given to prisoners in a better category prison than they had before their convictions, including access to exercise machines.

These strictures have been imposed on Imran Khan just before the elections.

Imran Khan found 2 pairs of uniforms in jail
According to sources, both of them have been given two pairs of jail uniforms as per jail rules. However, since PTI’s founding chairman Khan is facing trial in other cases, it has not been made mandatory for him to wear jail uniform.

Both the prisoners will also do labor in the jail premises as per the written order. Quoting sources, the news said that high-profile prisoners cannot be kept among common prisoners in jail factories, kitchens, hospitals, gardens etc.

Therefore, they will be kept in their premises for maintenance work or any other work assigned by the jail administration.
