In Mohali, a rich man, while trying to impress his wife on their wedding anniversary, did such a stunt that due to his stubbornness, another man’s private part got burnt.
The matter is such that he released Fire Crackers Sky Short from the trunk of his luxury car on the road, which injured the scooter rider coming from behind.
He also paid money to an auto driver to shoot this stunt. Police have arrested the accused. He is now on two-day police remand.
The incident is said to have taken place on December 2, when the police received information about a viral video.
According to the information, a rich man Ravit Kapoor fired a sky shot on the trunk of a moving luxury Mustang car to impress his wife on their wedding anniversary.
This video was being shot by the auto driver coming behind, to whom the car owner had allegedly given money. The Sky Shot fire accidentally injured a young man riding a scooter who was following behind. In this incident the private part of the victim got burnt.
The police have kept the identity of the victim secret. While registering the case, the accused Ravit Kaput has been arrested. Ravit Kapoor has an immigration job in Mohali and his father has a clothing showroom in Sector-19, Chandigarh.
14 challans have been issued for the car so far
The Mustang vehicle of this VIP number has been challaned 14 times so far. The last challan for over speed was issued in Kerala in 2022, while the remaining 13 challans were issued in Chandigarh.
DSP Harsimran Bal told that accused Ravit has sold his Mustang car to some person in Delhi.
The police team of Phase-8 police station has left for Delhi to recover the Mustang vehicle. The auto driver who made the video is also being searched.
