Tap water facility reached the homes of 24 thousand families

As a result of the instructions of Chief Executive Officer CREDA Rajesh Singh Rana, the work of Jal-Jeevan Mission has gained momentum.

Under the scheme, work has been started at 1178 places in the month of January and the work of installation of plants at 600 places has been completed, due to which about 24,000 families have got the facility of pure drinking water from tap water in their homes.

The Jal-Jeevan Mission scheme was reviewed by Chief Executive Officer Creda Rana as soon as she took charge of the department in the month of January.

In the meeting, instructions were given to all the officers at the head office and zonal office level and the officers of the working units to bring progress in the work.

Rana also took action to cancel 234 work orders by punishing 12 units which were delaying the work due to negligence and he also informed the field officers of CREDA to immediately inform them about the problems being faced at the workplace. Instructions were given to find a solution as soon as possible.
