Ayodhya . The Maharashtra government will construct a 12-storey Bhakti Niwas at a cost of Rs 250 crore on two and a half acres of land allotted by the Housing Development Council in Ayodhya, the city of Ram. For this, the construction work was started by laying the foundation stone as per law on Tuesday. It will be ready in two years.
Maharashtra Government’s Public Works Department Minister Ravindra Dattatreya Chavan reached Ayodhya along with officials of the ministry. First visited Hanuman Garhi and then took blessings from Ramlala. After this, the work started by performing Bhoomi Pujan for the construction of the proposed Maharashtra Sadan in Shahnawajpur under the Green Field Town Scheme of Navya Ayodhya. During this, Ayodhya MLA Ved Prakash Gupta, Mayor Girish Pati Tripathi, former MLA Gorakhnath Baba, District President Sanjeev Singh along with Housing Development Council officials were also present.
Minister Ravindra Dattatraya said that he was invited by the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh to build a Maharashtra Bhavan in Ayodhya, after which Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis had decided to build a building here. For this, two and a half acres of land near Saryu banks was obtained by the Yogi government. It has been decided to build a 12-storey Bhakt Niwas, in which it is planned to build 96 VIP and four VVIP rooms, 40 dormitories with a capacity of 50 people each. Along with this, arrangements have also been made to build two kitchens and a restaurant. He said that this work will be completed in 2 years under the scheme of Rs 250 crore. This Bhakti Sadan will be open to people coming from Maharashtra as well as people coming from all over India. Ayodhya MLA Ved Prakash Gupta expressed his gratitude to the ministers and officials of the Maharashtra government and said that the construction of the proposed Navya Ayodhya was started. Along with Maharashtra, Uttarakhand and Gujarat governments have also taken land. Ayodhya is being established as a religious, cultural and mythological as well as tourist city. Now an international airport has also been built here.
