India is also selling defense equipment to America and France; Know which country ordered the most weapons…

India, which once imported arms from big countries of the world, has now changed its stance.

India is now not only reducing the import of arms but has also increased exports on a large scale.

India has sold arms worth a total of Rs 21 thousand crores to many countries in 2023-24.

These include countries like America, France and Armenia. The important thing is that India has been purchasing arms on a large scale from America and France for decades. In such a situation, selling arms to these countries is like achieving a new achievement.

Among these, the biggest importer of arms from India is Armenia. Recently, Armenia, which has been embroiled in a bloody conflict with Azerbaijan, has purchased arms from India on a large scale.

Armenia has purchased Akash air defense missile systems, Pinaka multi-launch rocket systems and 155mm artillery guns from India.

India’s government and private arms companies are exporting to about 100 countries around the world.

Apart from normal weapons, these also include complete weapon systems, such as BrahMos supersonic cruise missile, Dornier-228 aircraft, artillery guns, radar, Akash missile, Pinaka rockets and armored vehicles.

Talking about America, it has not directly purchased any weapons from India, but has definitely purchased components of some things.

Indian companies have imported some essential components and sub-systems to American fighter jet manufacturing companies Boeing and Lockheed Martin.

These include the fuselage, wings and other things. According to a Times of India report, Hyderabad-based Tata Boeing Aerospace Venture has exported fuselage and many other essential items to France.

These have been used in Apache helicopter attacks. Apart from this, France is also importing software and electronic equipment from India.
