The Indian Navy remains a threat to pirates at sea. The Indian Navy on Friday rescued an Iranian fishing vessel from pirates and also rescued its 23-member Pakistani crew.

The Navy has shared a video in which it can be seen that the Pakistani crew of Al-Qambar 786 ship is raising slogans of ‘India Zindabad’.

Let us tell you that the Indian Navy also arrested 9 armed pirates. It was these pirates who had hijacked the ship.

According to the Maritime Anti Piracy Act 2022, India will take further action against pirates.

The Navy said it had received information about the hijacking of Al Kanbar 786, an Iranian fishing vessel. The ship was 90 nautical miles off Soctra in Yemen on March 28.

According to the Navy, two ships were deployed in the Arabian Sea. These ships stopped the hijacked ship. INS Sumedha and INS Trishul were deployed for this work.

The navy said the pirates were forced to surrender after a struggle of more than 12 hours. 23 Pakistanis on board were evacuated safely. He was given medical attention and then allowed to go.

Let us tell you that Naval Chief Admiral R Harikumar had earlier also said that the Indian Navy is committed to creating a safe maritime zone. Recently, pirates were also caught off the coast of Somalia.
